Gin Themed Table Plan

Ginspiration – The Rise of Gin and the Gin Themed Table Plan

In recent years we have seen a major rise in the popularity of gin, or “Ginaissance” as some are calling it!
With this recent transformation to an exciting drink aimed at a wide ranging target market Gin distillers have overseen a huge influx of flavoured gins.
Pink Gins, Marshmallow Gin, Blood Orange, Plum & Vanilla, Shiraz Gin and the list continues and continues to grow. (My favourites have to be Rhubarb & Ginger + Parma Violet)

As the “Ginaissance” continues the earnest, more and more engaged couples are deciding to incorporate the juniper based tipple into their big day in lots of different ways.

Below we discuss a few of the most popular
1. Gin Bottles as Table Centre Pieces

Put all your gin drinking to good use and keep the bottles to use as table centre pieces. Drumshanbo,Cork Dry, Hendrick’s and Gordons are just some of the more well known brands, but use this gin A-Z if you need a little inspiration. 7. Gin influenced catering

Give your guests a taste of the good stuff with catering that harnesses the pleasures of gin. Wedding breakfasts can benefit from apricot and gin-glazed gammon as a hearty main course and sloe gin bramble pie for dessert, all decorated with juniper berries as an ornamental reminder of your theme. Spring and summer weddings can enjoy gin-laced lollies and sorbet for a refreshing kick; here’s how to make your own gin and tonic popsicles.

Ever popular and always on trend, over the years the public’s love for gin has given rise to an astounding array of products and ideas that celebrate the spirit in its entirety. And gin-themed paraphernalia isn’t confined to day-to-day use… you can now incorporate it in your big day. Here’s a few ideas for giving the spirit a starring role in your wedding.

1. Gin Favours

While a pure gin flavour or scent might not be as well received, miniature gin and tonic lip balm tins or scented candles will go down a storm with your guests. Buy in bulk to save on cost so look for multi-packs, or head to bargain stores such as Home Bargains for favours that cost pennies.

2. Gin Signage

Give your wedding signs a gin-inspired slant. How about ‘Let the journey be-GIN?’ or ‘It’s gin-o-clock’? Get creative with your wording and let the gin puns commence.

3. Gin Bottles as Table Centre Pieces

Put all your gin drinking to good use and keep the bottles to use as table centrepieces. Bombay Sapphire, Hendrick’s and Beefeater are just some of the better known brands, but use this gin A-Z if you need a little inspiration.

4. Gin Pong

You don’t have to buy the dedicated kit to enjoy a game of gin pong, just set up your own game with a rectangular table, 16 plastic cups, one ping-pong ball and some extra cups or large bucket. Familiarise yourself with the rules of beer pong a.k.a. gin pong and prepare to do battle.

5. Gin Themed Table Plan

Similarly, why not name your tables after your favourite gin brands and link up with your table centre pieces?

With over 500 types of Gin on the market, no wonder it is fast becoming the most popular beverage in Ireland & the UK! We like to think we know a thing or two about gin, so if you have any questions about which bottles to use then please just ask.
If you are one of the millions of people who can’t get enough of Gin, then WOW your guests with our brand new GIN themed Wedding Table Plan.
Using authentic Gin bottles, this Table Plan is perfect for Gin lovers! and is fully customisable to suit your needs.

Once designed, the table plan can be supplied either by digital art pdf, A1 printed on Satin paper, or mounted on a 5mm foamex board to allow it to stand upright by itself.
In most wedding reception venues, you will be supplied with a large mirror or wall to stick up the table plan allowing for the printed version on paper.
However in some locations they provide an easel which means that you will more than likely to need it backed with the foamex board to allow it to stand on the easel by itself. Ask your wedding venue which type will best suit that location and speak to us about your options and we will also be happy to guide you on which version to order.

Our gin themed table plan is completed with matching table name cards. Each table is a certain type of gin and with over 500 to choose from the world is your oyster. (PS There is probably Oyster flavoured gin!!)
You tell us how many tables you will have at your wedding and which gins you want to include and we will do the rest for you. We gather the artwork for all the gin bottles and create a water colour filter to give the bottles some additional character. Standing A5 in size, double sided and with large, bold Clarendon font allows your guests to find their specific table from anywhere in the room.

6. Gin Influenced Catering

Give your guests a taste of the good stuff with catering that harnesses the pleasures of gin. 7. Gin Gifts

Nothing says thank you better than a gift with a gin twist. How about these sparkly Hendrick’s bottles, which we bet taste just as good as they look, or a ‘Keep calm and drink gin’ DIY mini hamper?

8. Gin Wedding Stationery Designs

Add sentimental messages to your invitations and save the dates such as ‘He/she is the gin to my tonic’ as a teaser of what is to come on your wedding day. We create custom invites and love creating new designs to match your ideas so if you wanted a gin themed invite style email us to paddy@nowandforever.ie and we can discuss the project in more detail.
